Duke breaks down a new defensive scheme that goes over blitz setups, plus how to adjust your coverage and stop the run!

Play: 34 Over- Sting Pinch Zone Flipped

Playbooks: ANY w/ 34 Over (We prefer INDY)

  1. Base align
  2. Spread the LB’ers and DL
  3. Coverage both OLB’s
  4. QB Contain
  5. Put the deep FS into a inside third zone

Final Thoughts:

This is a great defense to run because you can easily stop anything the offense wants to do. The gaps are very easy to hit in the run game, and if you are worried about missing a tackle, you can just click off once you shoot the gap and let the CPU do it. The blitz setup is very consistent with four rushers, but allows you to blitz 5 or 6 when you want. The base coverage setup is basically impossible to deep bomb and you can adjust to take anything else away in the pass game as needed.
