This week’s Madden Vault Tips are live and once again we bring the fiiiire! This week we focus on both offense and defense, but wanted to showcase some tactics the are being used very heavily in the hardcore community on both sides of the ball.

First off, let’s focus on the offensive side of the ball. Man to Man BNR defense is being used much more this year and a lot of hardcore players are using a certain route to absolutely kill it. This route is great because it can be used from almost any passing play. We break it down in our unbumpable routes part 2 breakdown!

Additionally, the Pistol Bunch formation from the Cowboys playbook has been used a ton. It has a sick two play combo that kills zone coverage and gives you a few potential one play touchdowns over the top.

On the defensive side of the ball, we break down a blitz from the 43 Under. The 43 Under has easily been one of the top 3 formations used on defense so far this year. We showcase the best blitz from it yet. We have a DT A Gap blitz where you do not need to blitz any LB’ers, just the DL. Think the 43 Wide 9 from last year… and best of all it stops the run!

If you have not signed up for the Madden Vault, what are you waiting for? There is no time better than now to start getting the latest and greatest tips each and every week!
