In this Madden 13 Tip, Duke shows how to user catch come back routes again zone coverage on both sides of the field!

Play: Gun Double Flex Wing- Double Comebacks

Playbooks: GB and MIA

Setup:

1. Put the RB on a wheel route

This play is just a specific example of one with both outside WR’s on comeback routes, but just about every playbook in Madden 13 has a play like this.

Final Thoughts:

The RB wheel route is used to draw the under neath zone coverage down. To user catch this route, you want tall WR’s with high CIT. On the right, throw a bullet pass lead up about 7-8 yards down field and then click on and hold down the catch button while under cutting the ball. On the left, throw a bullet pass lead right about 7-8 yards down field and then click on and hold down the catch button while under cutting the ball. In both cases, make sure your QB sets his feet before you throw the ball.
